nature art

Below are some examples of my work, created with British and locally grown flowers, foliage and sustainable techniques. If you are interested in a commission or potential collaboration, please get in touch ~ I love a creative project!

Autumn Equinox warrior Queen

She was created for Art Battle Manchester when it first came to Stockport in September 2022.

Floral Rain

Created for Manchester Flower Festival 2023. Inspired by Manchester rain, this display showcases brightly coloured British grown dried flowers that cascade from a suspended umbrella ~ celebrating the Manchester weather we all know and love (or hate).

WEAVING wORDS

Creative commission for Stockport Town of Culture 2023-2024...

The project focuses on renewal, regeneration and sustainability.  It will create ‘Weaving Words’, a bespoke public artwork for Stockport residents and visitors to enjoy for years to come. The sculpture will take the shape of gigantic 3D letters that spell out an uplifting word. Communities will be involved in both the design and build of the installation, learning new skills to make a living work of art.

27 Arches

Created in partnership with the Stockport Florist Collective for Manchester Flower Festival 2024.

Steeped in history and representing a century of industry and heritage, the Stockport viaduct was once the largest in the world, connecting the city to the countryside and remaining an iconic landmark on the town's skyline.

This display, created with a base of industrial materials, features 27 different varieties of flowers and foliage, between metal, brick and wire, representing the viaduct's arches and the concept of man-made vs the natural world.

The Stockport Florist Collective is a group of independent florists based in and around the Stockport area.
